Gnocchi alla sorrentina

– 1 pack of Gnocchitime Traditional Gnocchi
– 600 grams of tomato puree 600 g
– 6 leaves Basil
– 1 clove Garlic
– Extra virgin olive oil q.b.
– Salt up to taste

This dish, originally from Campania, is one of the most loved, thanks to the mix of genuine and simple Mediterranean flavours.

In a saucepan, pour a drizzle of oil, a clove of peeled whole garlic and the tomato puree, salt to taste.

Season everything with the basil leaves, then cover with the lid and cook over medium-low heat for about 20 minutes

Cook the Gnocchi in boiling salted water until they float to the surface. Drain the gnocchi and add them to the sauce. The dish is now ready to enjoy.
